Three years ago, I posted a video challenging the fashion industry to use more non-traditional models and to profile non-traditional designers (i.e. plus, petite, petite-plus). Here is the new, follow-up vid:

Whither the Petite Sites?

In 2007, there were several petite-related sites running. Petite Fashionista, Serafina, Some Small Sense, The Chic Petite, Petite Personal Shopper and mine (at the time, I had two). However, it some of these sites don't seem to update much or at all anymore. What has happened? Petite Personal Shopper, for example, hasn't had anything new since October. There was supposed to be a new issue last month. Nothing happened.

Is the cause for petite dwindling? Does anyone know what's happened?

A rant about being petite - this blogger gets it, why don't others?

I found this while searching for things to write about in Shorty Stories. The writer, Isabella, basically gives the standard talk of what petite REALLY is. We need more people like her, because despite the blog postings about being petite, sadly, most of the public, including women who are 5'4" or shorter, don't seem to understand. Maybe more people need to create websites, so we could catch up with the plus size blogs!
