What I Wore on TV this morning...

As the founder and webitor-in-chief of DelectablyChic!, I had the opportunity to go back on a little local community cable channel show called daytime Toronto to speak about proper party etiquette. Unlike my last appearance in November, I wore a blouse and skirt rather than a dress, making it easier to mike me. The show went pretty well, especially compared to last time, when I was dragged on TV while my show partner was still getting her hair and make-up done (we both looked HORRIBLE, by the way). The show aired live this morning at 10 am (December 23) and will be on again at midnight. However, you have to have Rogers Cable service and live in the 416 dialling area to see it.

It's a Coat...no, a DRESS!

Believe it or not, I managed to get something at the Lanvin Loves H&M event today. Things were a little different than the past, with a wristband policy in place (at least at the store that I went to), so things were a bit chaotic. I got there around 8 am (I did not realize that the store was opening earlier) and was given a wristband for 11. That had me worried...if things were anything like previous years, it would mean that 11 am = nothing left. Well, I was partially right. When I got upstairs right before 11, I was actually able to find SOMETHING! In size 2!! It was actually not the outfit I had in mind (ok, I actually had NOTHING in mind at first and then it was the dark blue dress with the frilly sleeves), but this really, really caught my eye. And right then and there, I knew that it could be either a coat OR a dress.....

Petites at LG Fashion Week and What I Wore - October 19

Today was the first full day of shows at Toronto's LG Fashion Week. After four seasons as Prospere Magazine, the Spring/Summer 2011 collections were our first as DelectablyChic! Shows included OR by angela chen, LOVAS and Canada's darling, Pink Tartan (Kimberly Newport-Mimran's husband, Joseph, will be showing his Joe Fresh collection on Wednesday).

Like last season, Shorty Stories went around taking pictures for Petites at LG Fashion Week. And there were plenty of ladies who gladly volunteered - after all, us shorter gals don't usually get to be models!! Many, when asked, also said that they'd gladly wear lines created exclusively for them, so listen up, designers out there! We're interested in exclusive lines!! But before I get there, here's what *I* wore:
