I spent part of my weekend in Kingston, Ontario, home of my alma mater, Queen's University. I didn't have too much time to shop (I was there less than 24 hours, and much of it was spent navigating my way around campus, where much of it is under contruction (they are building a new student centre, which won't open for a few more years.), but I did manage to stop by Next Exit, located on 202 Princess Street (phone: 613-545-1311). The sign (which you can see above) caught my eye. They were selling jeans that fit petite girls! Yay! So off I went into the store to see what they had. As usual, there weren't too many with 30" inseams, but I found a lovely pair of Mavi jeans, a brand from Istanbul. I tried them in three sizes, since you never know. 26" was way too big, felt like I was wearing those vanity sized zeros-LOL! 24" was a little snug and actually looked SHORT! Ha! So yes, I ended up buying the 25" jeans, which were $78 before taxes. I never thought that I could find a pair of jeans that FIT, looked good and could be worn in the deep heat of summer in KINGSTON!
So the next time you're in Kingston, be sure to visit Next Exit on Princess Street!
