Would I wear this?

I was in Joann's Fabrics today and while I was looking at the magazines, I came across this one.  Could not decide if I really liked the dress on the cover or if I really hated it.  Or would I really love it if I was a little hottie and 30 lbs. lighter. Doesn't eveything look great when your thin? 

This is actually two pieces.  The top is secured in the back with one hook and eye. One hook and eye....are they kidding?  Talk about living dangerously...braless and wearing an outfit secured with one hook and eye!!! And you can't tell by the picture but the back is very open too. Damn my Spanx are going to show :(  I didn't buy the magazine but I may just have to go back and see how they constructed the skirt.  Wouldn't that be quite the scrap reducing project at the monthly quilt guild meeting.  I think if I suggested it, they would throw a net over me and haul me off to the looney bin.  But the evil part of me would love to wear this to the next Marine Corps Ball just to hear the whispers "Yeah her husband has done 29 yrs. active duty...she snapped 10 balls ago.  Just smile at her and tell her she looks pretty. " :)

That settles it...I'm going back to buy the magazine tonight :)
