I don't normally post every day, but yesterday, I sent an e-mail to J.Crew asking them about the lack of petite skirts in their January lineup and why they haven't added size 00/00P like their competitors, Ann Taylor and Banana Republic. I received an email back soon after where they first apologized, and then explained that they only add petites on items which they think look nice on the petite frame. They also said this:
"Currently there are no more petites being added to our inventory."
I've written back to them asking them what they meant by it. Will get back to you on this.
UPDATE: The petite line is NOT being discontinued. There just aren't any petite skirts in January. THIS IS GOOD NEWS!
