When the Banana Republic on Bloor Street in Toronto re-opened in 2007, I was very excited, as they launched a second petite department in Toronto. The petite department, which was located on the second floor when it first opened, soon moved downstairs to the back of the main floor. It has since moved back upstairs and also expanded. Selection has grown from just a few basics to more casual looks, which were originally found only in the Eaton Centre store, such as denim. This is amazing for petites in Toronto, as we are very limited in what we can get (compared to petites in New York and LA). The store on Bloor also carries Banana's Monogram collection, which as of September 30, does not come in petites. Perhaps it will launch soon.
