paris je t'aime

So as Promised my lovelies, here's a snap taken on my Diana camera of Sonny and I at the weekend in Paris on our little date courtesy of Eurostar. I'm wearing a rather lovely little Eley Kishimoto dress and Sonny is wearing Chloë Sevigny for O.C. I am rather partial to that pillar box red jacket and am wondering if it will fit me... Don't you love those green chairs that they have everywhere in the jardin des Tuileries? I wanted one but Sonny flatly refused to carry it home on the train for me. Plus I'm not sure where you would buy one from, I'll have to get my PA on it. They would look lovely in my courtyard.

So did you manage to see the McQueen show? I heard from my seat in the auditorium that the link had crashed because so many lady Gaga fans logged on after she tweeted about it. Oh the power of twitter eh!

Well you can still watch it over here and I must say it was pretty spectacular. Alexander certainly knows how to put on a show. The models looked as if they had been plucked from another planet and transported to earth via some magical power... they certainly didn't walk there themselves - those shoes were dangerous! Not sure how I'm going to tackle walking in those bad boys but look closely at the clothes themselves absolutely beautiful shapes complimented by intricate prints. I've got my eye on this one...

Sacrebleu! Givenchy!

Sonny in front of the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur wearing his Ray-bans.
(You'd think those things were glued to his head. I'm thinking of sending him to ray-bans anonymous!)

Hello everyone, I'm in Paris enjoying the shows and pretending to be french! The french are so chic don't you think... just look at this stylish couple (below) I spotted having their wedding photos taken in front of the the Sacré-Coeur. They drove up in a gorgeous little car followed by the photographer on his cool scooter, jumped out, had their photos taken and zoomed off again! Wow Paris is so romantic...

Sonny and I have spent a lovely weekend here courtesy of Eurostar who knowing my penchant for the place sent me two first class tickets. How could I refuse! I usually fly over to stay in my little holiday apartment overlooking the Eiffel tower but I am so impressed with the train journey I may just be converted. I couldn't believe how fast it took to zip through the tunnel. We were in Paris quicker than you could say yummy first class bunny friendly vegetarian breakfast and complimentary champagne!

I'll bring you more shots of my romantic weekend soon but I just wanted to mention the Givenchy show. One word - AMAZING! I was swooning over every single piece that came down the catwalk...

SONNYS COOL

sonny has an own clothes day, check out his cute vans!

SHEEPISHLY YOURS

well well, whats going on here then you might ask? Is Sonny having an affair? Well thats the conclusion I naturally jumped to. I was hopping mad! Fair enough if someone falls out of love (gulp - did I just mention the L word??!?) but surely it's only fair to inform your girlfriend (well I might as well go the whole hog and use the G word as well) rather than being seen in the local rag sporting a new girl on your arm. And a sheep! Oh the shame!
well anyway it turns out that Sonny is totally innocent. Its not my fault that he never mentioned his stepsister (yes his mum is going out with a sheep - nothing wrong with a little crossbreeding I've since learnt!) Sonny had very nicely agreed to accompany his little sister to the knitting world champagne reception. Apparantly she didn't have anyone to follow and would have got lost if it were'nt for her heroic brother. hmm very heroic!

Introducing....

Some of you may have wondered what I've been up to in my recent absence. there was rumours of Mr McGregor catching up with me and a faint smell of stew but fear not, the real reason is because I have met a very nice boy and he seems to have taken up all my spare moments (i.e. when I'm not shopping for clothes or munching on a la carte carrots). So anyway I'd like to introduce you to my friend (who just happens to be a boy - its far too early at this stage to say 'BF')
.....Sonny Hare

(here we are in Bottega Venetta - isn't he yummy!)
