While it seems J.Crew's petite selection decreases each month, I do congratulate them on one thing this time around. THEY HAVE INTRODUCED PETITE YOGA PANTS!!! The petite length yoga pants have an inseam of 29" and come in black, grey or navy. These pants also have an interior pocket where you can place your mp3 player!
Other petite picks this month:

Stadium-cloth Bridget coat
It was really hard to pick these pieces, because they just weren't that great. I don't really understand this. J.Crew used to have great selection for petites, better than Banana Republic and Ann Taylor combined. Now, the other stores have each exceeded J.Crew. In addition, Banana and Ann both carry "fun"/"weekend" clothes in petite sizes. The latest J.Crew collection doesn't even have skirts in their petite collection. Normally, one would see one or two.

Amber McNaught is mad too...
This British gal is just as upset as we are. Amber, who has a column on dollymix.tv, recently posted a story about how tough it is to find clothes.
I am a reasonably petite woman. Unfortunately for me, this means that I have two basic choices when it comes to getting dressed in the morning:
1. Dress like an overgrown toddler
2. Go out naked.
She wrote this in an entry dated June 19th. Amber also goes on to talk about how the media has lately paid lots of attention to larger women, about how these ladies should have more choice. Sounds familiar, huh? Anyway, when I heard about this post, I thought that she was going to get a lot of replies. Nope. Not many. Not even silly/uninformed ones that say "you short ladies don't have as many problems as us fat ones. At least you can get things altered". I counted three replies. And this includes my posting. Sad.
