Great piece! I wish that the fashion industry would pay more attention to petite sizes, especially designers who focus on petites (e.g. Henrietta Pertuz or Allison Izu). Ditto with the media. I know that petite blogs are growing, but we are nowhere near the numbers of plus sized women. The problem here is that a lot of women who are 5'4" or below do not consider themselves petite, especially those who wear anything larger than say, a size 6. And major media don't really care, either. I could go on about a mini-argument I had with a model, but I'll save it for another day.
