Last year we took out all the old cabinets and replaced them with new. Got new counter tops, new flooring and new fixtures. 
Got rid of a big linen closet and replaced it with a narrow high cabinet.
All that was left was to get rid of the ugly tub and tiles.
We have a slight problem. The tub is about 1/8" of an inch too wide for the door. Problem solved in just a few minutes. :)
