Ingredients:
Round steak cut into 4 serving sizes
One envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
One can of Cream of Mushroom soup
Place 1/4 cup of water into the bottom of the crock pot (where else would it go :))
Place the meat into the crock pot with as much as possible touching the bottom or sides of the crock pot.
Add the envelope of dry soup mix to the top of the meat. Don't mix. Just spread it on evenly and leave it alone. Spread the can of cream of mushroom soup on top of the dry soup mix. DO NOT ADD ADDITIONAL WATER TO THE SOUP MIX. Spread it evenly on top of the dry soup mix.
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Do not stir for at least 2 hours. Don't ask me why. It's just what I was told when I got the recipe and I didn't question. Serve with mashed potatoes. Make the potatoes thick because you will have a lot of gravy. Some home made biscuits would be good (okay so it isn't exactly Adkins :)) The meat will be very tender and you probably won't even need a knife. Itr's good over egg noodles too. Toss in some carrots toward the end of cooking.
