Shoes, shoes, shoes (Part II)

For those ladies with very small feet (i.e. 5.5 or smaller), Asia is THE PLACE for you to find shoes that fit. My mom recently returned from a trip to Hong Kong and told me that the stores there had tons and tons of good quality size 5s and 5.5s. You can find 5s and 5.5s at Asian stores in North America as well, but your choice of good quality shoes isn't as good. It's too bad that you have to buy a plane ticket and fly 20-something hours to get there!

Anyway, here's what my mom got me:

If you ever have the chance to go to Hong Kong, it's a great place for smaller sized shoes. Petite clothes are great, if you buy local, but many women there also buy major brands and then get them altered. There's no concept of "petite" when it comes to western brands. Petite means local or Japanese brands. Also, being a former British colony, you'll find that lots of sales associates in shopping areas where there are lots of tourists or expats do speak English.
