While J.Crew still has little choice for petites, the selection of fun, casual clothes is definitely improving. I even found a few casual dresses, tops and skirts, types of clothes that existed a few years ago, but not last spring/summer. Pieces I like include:
Deco-dot Zoey Dress
Cherry-blossom Frances blouse (this isn't listed in the "new items" section, but it definitely wasn't in the March catalog. I guess it came later in later in March, but wasn't really "new" anymore when the April lists came??)
One piece I would *LOVE* to have seen in a petite size is this:
Galassia Jacket (it's part of the J.Crew Collection, which pretty much NEVER makes anything in petite. Ideally, outerwear should be one of the pieces purchased in petite sizes if you are on the shorter side.)
Don't you wish that petites had better selection, especially in the "fun" department?
