A cruise to the Caribbean, purchasing a great purse, a conversation with our waiter and...voila...and an idea for a new company is born.
Mamie & Mable, created with the idea of giving artists, mostly female, from developing countries a platform to sell their creations, focusing on handbags and jewelry. Then, taking it one step further, I wanted to help those in need that might not have a ready product to sell, so a portion of the company profits are donated to other charities that focus on women and children.
Simple, creative, purposeful, that's Mamie & Mable, in a nutshell, or should I say handbag?
